Since 1905 the PARISH ROOMS have been a place
for the people of Market Drayton to meet.
(They are held in trust by the diocese of Lichfield
and run by St Mary's Church as trustees)
There is a LARGE HALL and two smaller meeting rooms,
THE STARMER ROOM and THE EDWARDS ROOM.

PARISH ROOMS LETTINGS POLICY
St Mary’s Church, Market Drayton wants to see The Parish Rooms utilised in a way that advances the work of the Church within the community through Church sponsored activities or suitable community activities which help to build bridges between the Church and the local community.
The Parish Rooms are an integral part of the structure, work and faith of St Mary’s Church, and, therefore, their use is expected to conform to the ethos and principles of the Christian faith upheld by the Church. We, therefore, welcome applications from the community for the use of our premises, where the activities do not conflict with the beliefs upheld by the Church.
Applications for use of the Parish Rooms are to be made to the Bookings Secretary who is answerable to the Trustees (St. Mary’s PCC).
When applications are made for use of the Parish Rooms for activities which may be considered to be inconsistent with the Church’s beliefs, the application must be forwarded,
by the Bookings Secretary, to the Trustees for consideration and approval, before the application is accepted.
